Every once in a while nostalgia hits with dreams of crimped hair and white blazers with the sleeves rolled up. The 80’s might be an embarrassment to some… most, but admittedly the memories albeit painful are extraordinarily hilarious. When presented with the chance to relive such hilarity on a grand scale everyone should reach for their super hold hairspray and get to teasing.

Our wonderful friends Sweat Records and The Vagabond bring us the 8^th edition of prom night in Miami with the “8^th Annual 80’s Prom”. You’ll find DJ Tommy Gunn and Carlos Llanos in the main ballroom spinning new wave and dance. Then, in the bar room DJ Hottpants and Laura of Miami will send us reeling back in time with 80’s booty, freestyle and all the jams we wouldn’t admit to like on any other night but this. Finally in the garden, Deejay Smeejay will be playing classic 80’s make-out songs. Don’t worry there will be plenty of adult beverages to facilitate a redemption from your actual prom night faux pas with that high school hottie.

As if that weren’t enough, get the chance to immortalize your tuxedo t-shirt at the prom night photo booth brought to you by JIPSY. As promised, drink specials include: $5 Heineken and $5 Prom Punch (vodka and Hawaiian Punch) all night long. Bring on the slow dances!
