Quickie but goodie post coming your way this week from yours truly.

Blackbird Ordinary – formerly known as Transit Lounge – will be hosting the Memorial Day event you won’t forget: cause it’s taking place on Tuesday.

Party an extra day and hit up BO on Tuesday when the doors open at 10 p.m. for Lifted Tuesdays Miami Edition.  “But what about my job, bro?!” I hear you. Here’s what I say to that: Go anyway. You only live once and you don’t want to waste your party years being responsible, do you? I didn’t think so.

Special guest DJ Epps will be on the one’s and two’s along with resident DJ’s Keen One and Elle.  The party will be hosted by Lady J Femme and Soarse Spoken. Here comes my favorite part of any event post I do: The drink specials …

The Blackbird will be offering Lifted Drink Specials of $6 PBR plus a shot of Jameson and $10 dirty martinis – extra dirty – wink, wink. Free pool and ping pong will be available if you can still see straight and no need to stress about the cover charge cause there ain’t one!  Happy Memorial Day, folks.
