Jimmy Eat World’s New Album “Invented” To Be Released 09/28/2010

I’m not a fan of Jimmy Eat World or anything but I’m sure loads of heads out there are. Okay fine, I admit I was a in the closet Jimmy Eat World fan with ONE of their albums, “Clarity”. The last time I even heard Jimmy Eat World was when they opened up for Foo Fighters in 2008. I must admit they opened up with a pretty decent show. Time after the “Clarity” album I have to say I didn’t like their direction too much, but in this genre of rock they are at least very tolerable in my eyes. Overall in terms of catchy music, I’d have to give it to them on being successful for writing catchy songs.

Anyways, that being said we’ll pretend I never admitted to such shameful guilty pleasures… no seriously, start pretending and believing….

So to get to the point here, Jimmy Eat World will be releasing their next album entitled “Invented” on September 28th, 2010.

Antimusic.com reports the following:

“Jimmy Eat World have set a September 28th, 2010 release date for their new album, Invented.
Recorded in Tempe, Arizona at the band’s Unit 2 studio, Jimmy Eat World reunited with Mark Trombino, the producer on the band’s breakthrough album, Bleed American, and their seminal earlier albums, Static Prevails and Clarity.

“We’re very excited about Invented,” said lead singer and guitarist Jim Adkins, “it was great reconnecting and creating an album with Mark Trombino, we can’t wait for our fans to hear it.”

Fans will get their first taste of Invented when the first single “My Best Theory” hits the airwaves in August. Jimmy Eat World has a stellar history across Modern Rock radio with five top 10 hits.

Invented marks the band’s first studio album since 2007′s Chase This Light which landed Jimmy Eat World’s highest chart position of their career at #5 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Jimmy Eat World’s last release may have been three years ago but they’ve been busy. The boys took a break from the recording of Invented to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their influential album, Clarity with a sold out national tour.

Jimmy Eat World’s Fall tour plans are being finalized now.”
