Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel Working On New Stuff For A Perfect Circle

It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard anything from A Perfect Circle. Around the time Billy Howerdel started his own band called Ashes Divide. In 2006, Maynard James Keenan released “10,000 Days” with Tool and then released his solo album under the name “Puscifer” in 2007. At some point during the time Maynard James Keenan once said that before he was to do anything with A Perfect Circle he wanted to know what the music industry wanted to do in terms of the new music business model. Now there’s been word on the streets saying that Billy and Maynard are working together again as A Perfect Circle.

“Songwriter Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan are once again working together as A Perfect Circle, and new music from the beloved group is on the way.

Tonight, Howerdel performed with his band Ashes Divide at The Viper Room in Hollywood, on the stage that A Perfect Circle was originally debuted on August 15th, 1999. After the set, the third of a four-night June residency, which featured a guest appearance by Keenan, we tracked down Howerdel for the good word.

The possibilities of a full album and tour are both still very much in the air. However, Howerdel told us on the record that theyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re working on Ã¢â‚¬Å“somethingÃ¢â‚¬Â that should be out this year.
