In 2001, Elzhi finally, after years of hustling his Out Of Focus EP, gets invited by T3 of Slum Village to hit up a few of the tunes on Trinity. For any Detroit rapper at that point, this was a major move. Needless to say, Elzhi took the offer, followed through, became the 4th member of Slum Village and is now a great. Working with everyone from Black Milk, to Royce and today dropping an EP recreating the Illmatic album.

We went ahead and added some Elzhi tunes from the EP that have been leaked in the last few weeks to the mix. This is just a taste at what to expect on the Elzhi – ELmatic EP which, per his Facebook, will be on XXLMAG.COM at exactly 1pm for free download.
