What makes art, art?
Is it the subject or the finished result?
Is it the use of color or the medium?
Is it your vision or the artist’s vision that moves you?
Whatever it is that tickles your senses, for the artist, what makes his or her art is that moment in time that gets transfered  from their mind’s eye to permanence in your mind’s eye.
Just like that.
And for local artist AholSniffsGlue, that permanence starts with one thing…
Ahol Sniffs Glue is a 305-born staple. His influence can be felt on the party scene as one of the founding members of (((SHAKE))) at the Vagabond. (You can thank/curse the name Ahol if have ever felt the wrath of a Colt-45 hangover after a night of owning the dance floor at the popular Downtown Miami hotspot.) And his art has made it’s way onto the walls and into the consciousness of Miami. Known for his signature droopy-eyes and looking worse-for-wear characters, once you know his ‘steez, you can spot Ahol’s work all over the place. His is a mass-invasion of your senses via stickers, entire walls off of I-95 and now, a bangin’ art exhibit at Wynwood’s Butter Gallery.

Peep Ahol below having a little chat with yours truly as he drops the info on his show and encourages you to support and help, “Manifest the ideas.”
And remember to come out, eyeball the art and celebrate one of the 305′s favorite sons this Thursday. And after you’re done soaking in the culture and drinking some malt-adult-beverages (Maybe even sniffing some glue if you got it.), head over to (((SHAKE))) at the Vagabond and work it out to the sounds of the one and only Tony Touch.
Remember, DO YOUR JOB…
support local artists .
One time for mah dogs, Ahol.
