Last week local dubstep duo Caligula release their remix of Dev’s “Dancing in the Dark” track. It’s like a trendy dance party where the lights go out and slowly everyone starts to realize there’s no AC… but the dancing continues. Sounds familiar. Go on, download it.
Shhhhh…. Don’t look now, but the best professional team in Florida resides in Sunrise. Our beloved Florida Panthers have climbed in to 1st place, and essentially put it in a headlock a little more than a quarter of the way through the season. Not only are they in 1st place in the Southeast Division at 16-9-6, but they are also in 5th place overall in the NHL, a very welcome sight for a team who is a notoriously slow starter over the last decade. A decade that has seen marquis coaches,... Read More →
The first single off Anjuli Stars’ Starvation Vol. 2 is “Buss Shots” which is produced by Krunkadelic. The video dropped this week by South Dade Films where only Ms. Stars could talk about her gats in the air with pictures of butterflys coming across the screen.
The gun shots are a metaphor for expression. The song is about shooting down through lyrical expression. I’m not literally shooting anyone. Its not a violent record at all, I actually consider it a love song.
Stay tuned for the rest of the album because this rhyme spittin’ songstress is not messing around.

In the past year we’ve seen movements gain moment in extraordinary ways. From Saudi women finding support on Twitter for their right to drive or BBM aiding Egyptian freedom fighters to Facebook allowing the world to see the front lines of Occupy Wall Street; we’ve all had a chance to be a part of change in a way we never thought possible. While some call that passive activism other could argue that it’s about offering information… giving insight… providing a voice for... Read More →
Dear Mr. Ross, I have been a Miami Dolphins fan since I was wearing little O.P. shorts, and playing with my Silver Hawks toys. And I must say, I have never been so confused by the behavior of this franchise until these last couple of years. Why would any coach in their right mind want to come and work for this team right now? The screw job that you put on Tony Sparano is one for the record books. I am all for trying to find the best people to run the football team, but you may be sending the wrong... Read More →
Wynwood has become the pulse of “street art” in Miami. That’s what it will say if you Google it- “street art”. And hey, the street ain’t all bad… Basel proved that the “street art” galleries and folk had better parties, people and above all ART. Not only that, but there’s the music. Another form of art we here at Antisteez appreciate to its fullest, especially from the good ol’ 305. In its second year the “We Are Wynwood”... Read More →

Another banger from the Miami Beat Wave camp. These cats don’t sleep!
Yet ANOTHER 90′s Hiphop podcast. This week we remember 1994 for being one of the golden years of this incredibly lyrical genre of music. Everyone was starting their names and becoming the kings of their sound by this point. Wu-Tang had been established, Biggie had finally risen and the West was also holding the hood down with it’s Dr. Dre and Warren G… yet all the lyrical underground still reigned supreme with Jeru, Common and Shyheim. Download this mix that Mr. Guilletine has... Read More →
It’s the beginning of the week and all of us are already wishing it was Friday. But here are the ‘steez we look forward to Wednesdays because on each hump day, we head over to Love Hate for free drinks and fun at One Love Wednesdays. We think the middle of the week should be celebrated and that requires a fresh blend of classic hip hop and dancehall reggae. Oh, and $3 Red Stripes. Because good reggae requires the Stripe for hydration. And because we want you to feel Irie all the time... Read More →
