Every Film in 2009
Kees van Dijkhuizen brings us the sequel to last years video. 1 Year, 342 Movies, 12 Months of hard work, 7 Minutes. 2009 proved that innovation is rewarded, and for that reason, I’ve decided no film should be left behind. I’ve nearly tripled the amount of footage used in 2008: A Tribute To The Movies. This project was purely non-profit and not aimed at breaking copyright laws…. Just sayin’ Here’s a list of all the films, so you can instantly bash me here if I missed... (more...)

Black Milk – Keep Going (prod. Black Milk)
Black Milk talks about three different albums he’s working on for 2010 on this video. One of them being his solo project “Album of the Year”. We have the first single off of that album, and it’s fucking FIRE. One of the other albums he speaks of is the drop of the Random Axe joint. Random Axe is Guilty Simpson, Sean Price and Black Milk producing. I shouldn’t have to mention how crazy that album is going to be. Black Milk does all production on all three albums and... (more...)

Smoke City were an English band, who blended acid jazz and trip hop, borrowing from Brazilian styles such as samba and bossa nova. In 1997, the band released their first album Flying Away, which included several hits like “Underwater Love”, “Mr. Gorgeous (and Miss Curvaceous)”... (more...)

Trip-Hop Thursdays: Tricky
In the world of trip-hop there’s always something as dimmer than candle lights in a dark room. Today’s artist though IS the dark room and not candle light. Tricky, is notable for being one of the biggest icons of trip-hop, if not the biggest. Everything ranging from his dark background from his childhood till his very own sound. Tricky is by far one of the most important figures in trip hop. Many give him the title of being father of Trip-hop itself. As a musician and producer he’s... (more...)
Learn ya Wednesday : Median (MC)
I’m not the best writer out. Actually, I’m my own worst critic and I think I totally SUCK at it. For those few that do read what I write, will notice that I don’t paint things with pretty flowers, like out beloved Goobs. You will notice that I’m a one sentence guy that usually accompanies the post with a great video or picture that I use to take the focus out of how much my writing stinks. Or I’ll copy and paste some content I got off some website (always remembering... (more...)
